Mark Morris, LCSW, offers services as a psychotherapist, open to all types of clients but specializing in depression, anxiety, addictions, anger, grief, marriage, and struggles with money. Mark conducts individual, couples, and group therapies.

THERAPEUTIC CREDENTIALS AND APPROACH
Mark is a the first Louisiana-Diplomate in the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, which certifies "expert clinicians" using "exacting and rigorous standards." Due to quick and effective results, Mark focuses his practice on CBT for emotional regulation, EMDR to clear past trauma, and Mindfulness meditation for connection to self and Spirit. Mark also believes in practical support and common sense. He has been certified by the NASW as an ACSW and QCSW. Mark is an adjunct faculty member at the Tulane School of Social Work.

Mark leads a regular Thursday evening mindfulness meditation (open to all, by donation).
Mark accepts referrals from providers for an 8 week, 16 hour, CBT class. He is creating a waiting list for an open group called "Resilience." And he would like to start a "Women's Living Yes Group." Please ask your doctor or primary mental health care provider for a referral.
